Electrophysiology Technology (EP) is one of three study options available in BCIT's Advanced Certificate in Cardiac Sciences program, and is the only one of its kind offered in North America. The EP program option gives allied health professionals with electrocardiography (ECG) experience the specialized expertise needed to work in electrophysiology laboratories. Using intracardiac catheter recordings, electrophysiology technologists analyze complex arrhythmia, heart block, and myocardial infarction. |
